Runmate

Run with friends to one song, and hear each other as you go. Open a room with a code and your friends join in. The music one runner plays reaches everyone in the room at the same moment, and turning on the mic sends your voice too. Close by, phones connect straight to each other; apart, they stay together over the internet. Your run is tracked as usual: distance, pace and time, a split for every kilometer, and your route on the map. Set a goal and you'll hear when you're halfway and when you're done. In a room, your friends show up as dots on the map, so you always know how far apart you are. Wear an Apple Watch and your run is on your wrist too — time, distance and pace, with pause and stop at hand. Allow saving to the Health app and each run becomes a workout, the watch measures your heart rate, and a run's details show your heart-rate zones, cadence and elevation. Sign in with Apple, Google or Kakao. Your runs stay on your phone. • Make a room, or join with a code, a QR code or an invite link • Play music from another app, or a file of your own, to the room • Share your voice with the mic • Distance, pace, time, 1 km splits and your route • Distance or time goals with spoken updates • Follow, pause and stop your run on Apple Watch, with live heart rate • Save runs to the Health app, with heart-rate zones, cadence and elevation • Show your heart rate to the room, if you want to • Follow your run on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island • A notification when your run ends, and a summary every week
