Find Catalogue is a simple, private way to record, organise and share your metal detecting and other finds. Create a detailed record for each find with photographs, identification information, measurements, material, period, confidence, observations, research notes, sources and storage details. Whether you’re recording coins, buttons, buckles, tokens, jewellery, relics or unidentified objects, Find Catalogue gives you one organised place to keep the information you discover over time. QUICKLY RECORD A FIND Use Instant Find to photograph and record a find while you’re out, or create records manually when you have more time. Add multiple photographs to capture different sides, markings and details of an object. RECORD THE DETAILS THAT MATTER Keep useful information alongside each find, including discovery date, measurements, weight, material, period, identification confidence, observations, research notes, sources and physical storage location. MAP YOUR FINDS Save the location of a find and view recorded finds on the map. Locations can be adjusted manually when required, helping you build a useful geographical record of your discoveries. SEARCH AND BROWSE YOUR CATALOGUE Quickly return to previous finds using search and catalogue views. Each find has its own log number, making it easier to identify and reference records as your collection grows. SHARE YOUR FINDS Create a polished Share Card designed for social media and messaging, complete with your photograph and key find information. For more detailed records, create a concise PDF Summary or a comprehensive PDF Full Record containing photographs, observations, research notes and other recorded information. Catalogue data can also be shared as CSV for use with spreadsheets and other software. PRIVACY WHEN SHARING Your findspot information doesn’t have to be included when you share a find. Find Catalogue provides controls over location information so you can keep sensitive findspots private while still maintaining useful information in your own catalogue. Features include: • Record finds with detailed information • Add multiple photographs • Instant Find for quick recording in the field • Save and edit find locations • View finds on a map • Search and browse your catalogue • Record measurements, weight, material and period • Add observations, research notes and sources • Record identification confidence and storage details • Create branded Share Cards • Generate concise PDF Summaries • Generate detailed PDF Full Records • Share catalogue data as CSV • Control findspot privacy when sharing Find Catalogue is designed to keep recording straightforward while still giving you room to build detailed records as your knowledge of a find develops. Your catalogue remains useful whether you have a handful of finds or a growing collection built up over years. Find Catalogue is free to use, with no subscription required. I think that’s considerably stronger for 1.2.0. It explains what makes the app useful rather than just listing database features, and the new Share Card/PDF work gets proper prominence without making the whole description sound like this is merely a sharing app.
