Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Press at 83% against App4Phone.fr's 29%. My Press also leads on update cadence (every 11 months vs every 32 months). App4Phone.fr's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. My Press sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. App4Phone.fr asks for nothing beyond the download.
App4Phone.fr holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of My Press's written reviews are positive against 29% of App4Phone.fr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
My Press ships an update every 11 months, App4Phone.fr every 32 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
