Train with over 5,000 candidates. Get DAA Ready. The Defence Aptitude Assessment (DAA) is your first real hurdle when applying to the British Armed Forces, and it's one of the few parts of selection you can genuinely train for. DAA Ready gives you realistic, timed practice across every section, so you sit your DAA calm, quick and confident. Practice every section Train each part of the DAA with questions modelled on the real thing, under real timings: • Spatial Reasoning – assemble 2D shapes and rotate 3D objects in your head • Verbal Reasoning – best match, preferences and rules tables: reason from the facts to the one correct answer • Numerical Reasoning – mental arithmetic, fractions and data interpretation • Work Rate – follow the columns quickly and accurately under pressure • Electrical Comprehension – circuits, components and core principles • Mechanical Comprehension – gears, levers, pulleys and everyday mechanics Learn the method with Test Coaching: Every section has a step-by-step walkthrough. The clock pauses while we solve a real question together on the live test screen: watch the shape pieces lock together, see 3D objects spin into place, and cross off the wrong answers one at a time until only the right one is left. Then try one on your own, with a hint if you get stuck. Every question also comes with a plain-English explanation of the theory behind it, from gear trains and moments to circuits, electromagnetic induction and gas laws, so you build real understanding, not just memorised answers. Sit the full DAA Simulator: Run every section back-to-back, exactly as you will on the day. Choose the service and role you're aiming for – Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or Royal Marines, from Pilot to Engineering Technician to Logistics Officer – see which tests each role is scored on, and get a role-eligibility result showing whether your performance meets that role's demands, plus your strongest and weakest areas. Built around your goal: Tell DAA Ready your service, role and DAA date. You'll get a countdown to test day and reminders to keep practising. See exactly where you stand: • Instant correct/incorrect feedback on every question • Your score, accuracy and all-time average after each test • Progress tracking so you can watch yourself improve • Global leaderboards – climb the ranks, see other candidates' service and role, and compare yourself with candidates who've passed • Benchmark your score against successful candidates Plan the whole journey: The Pass Programme maps out every stage of aircrew selection – the DAA, the CBAT, the filter interview, fitness and the board – so you always know what's next. Join the community: DAA Ready has helped over 5,000 candidates prepare. Train alongside 1,000+ of them in our Discord community – swap tips, ask questions and stay motivated with people going through the exact same selection. Start free: Try Spatial Reasoning and its walkthrough free, then unlock every test, every walkthrough and the full DAA Simulator with Pro. Practice as much as you want – every test is a timed sprint where you answer as many as you can. Whether you're applying to the Royal Navy, Royal Marines or Royal Air Force, DAA Ready helps you turn up prepared and give yourself the best possible chance. DAA Ready is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Ministry of Defence or any official selection process.
