Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Fumail at none against My Message's shown. Fumail also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). My Message's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (8 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
My Message holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Fumail's written reviews are positive against 83% of My Message's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
