Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gviral at none against MGM+'s 10. Gviral also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). MGM+'s advantage is ratings volume (90K vs 1) and chart position (#37 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MGM+ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Gviral asks for nothing beyond the download.
Gviral holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MGM+ has 90K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
MGM+ ships an update fortnightly, Gviral every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
