Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eldrum at every 9 days against Planet Life's every 2 months. Planet Life's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 433) and iOS requirement (14.4 vs 16.4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planet Life sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Eldrum sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
