Repeat. Remember. Results! Like any game, if you don't know the rules, you can't play the game. Maths is like playing a game. Know the rules, play the game. ReMaths has been created using simplified depictions of key maths rules that have been tried and tested by many students in the past, with great results. ReMaths is split up into four groups. Select the group that corresponds to your education level, and start swiping through the rules. You don't need to spend long on each rule, just long enough for the information to sink in, then move on to the next. The more you do this, the easier it'll become to remember them. ReMaths will count the number of times you complete a group. See how many times you can cycle through every rule in a group. Each group has a contents page, in case you need to find a specific rule. You may develop your own way to use the app to aid your maths learning and start seeing results, but like any skill, repetition is key.

About

Numeracy

Features

This app helps to prepare children for the Welsh National Numeracy Tests. It offers questions set at the right level to let them get the practice they need. Questions are arranged in sets of about 30. Children answer with an easy to use on-screen keyboard. They get instant feedback - either a tick if they're right, or the correct answer if they're wrong. There are 133 sets of questions, from year 2 to year 7. Children work through at their own speed. Afterwards they have the option to create a certificate. These certificates motivate children and let them create a record of their own progress. Any certificates are kept as jpeg files in the picture folder. One set of questions is available for free at each level. Every child in every class from year 2 onwards can benefit straight away. When you've tried the app and can see the difference it makes, you can then choose to unlock the whole package with a one-off payment. As teachers, we understand the importance of children's privacy. 'Numeracy' shows no adverts, doesn't require email sign-ins, and collects no personal information. It's completely safe for everyone to use in school and at home. If lack of access prevents children using 'Numeracy' in full in school, parents have an opportunity to help their children at home. To make sure they find the right app, send them straight to www.maths.wales.
