See.Senseβs award-winning bike lights donβt just make you safer on the road. They work with this app to give you a voice. The technology within our lights can detect any road issues or poor route conditions that you face on your journey. By downloading the all new See.Sense app and connecting it to your lights, youβre then able to share these insights with Planners to help them repair roads quicker, create better cycling lanes and eradicate dangerous cycling areas. All so your rides can be safer, more convenient and more enjoyable. Through this app, you can: (new) Ride Stats: find out how far youβve travelled and how this compares to epic journeys and tasty treats. Have Your Say: Create better cycling infrastructure for everyone by sharing insights on your rides, or even providing written feedback, with Planners. Get Low Battery Notifications: On screen alerts, plus a handy power gauge, make sure you know the remaining run time of your lights. Receive Theft Alerts: The app warns you if your bike is moved when you're not there, delivering an audible alert to your phone. Send Crash Alerts: If youβre in a crash, an SMS message with your position will be automatically created for you to easily send to a nominated contact. Control & Customise Your Lights: Change the flash mode, brightness level and flash patterns of your light, or even rename it! Always Be Up-To-Date: Weβll notify you when a new firmware update for your lights is available so that you can update them over-the-air via the app. Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Everesting

What's your Everesting? Everesting started as the simplest and hardest idea in endurance sport: climb enough elevation, in a single effort, to match the height of Everest. 8,848 metres. One attempt. No shortcuts. That philosophy hasn't changed. But we believe everyone has their own Everesting: the elevation challenge that sits just beyond your limit, demands honest effort, and changes you in the process. The Everesting app is built for every athlete who moves upward: cyclists, runners, hikers, stair climbers, skiers and beyond. It doesn't matter what sport you do or how high your mountain is. What matters is that the effort is honest. ELEVATION CHALLENGES Take on structured elevation challenges designed for all levels and all sports. Each challenge has a target, a timeframe, and a global community of athletes doing it alongside you. ELEVATION INDEX Your Index is a single score built from your all-time elevation activity. It doesn't reset. It doesn't lie. Every metre you've honestly earned is in there, and it grows every time you go up. ELEVATION RANKING A 12-month rolling leaderboard built on real elevation data. Your position reflects the last year of genuine effort. Keep climbing to hold your place. Stop, and the ranking moves without you. FOR EVERY KIND OF ATHLETE Cycling, running, hiking, and more. The app connects to your Strava profile or your existing fitness platforms so your elevation data is already waiting for you. A GLOBAL COMMUNITY Everesting challenges have been completed by +20k athletes in 124 countries. The app brings that community together: the finishers, the first-timers, and everyone in between. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: See.Sense at none against Everesting's 3. See.Sense also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Everesting's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
