From the award-winning collection [National Parenting Product Award, Family Choice Award, among others] of Madeleine Editions, which takes children on a voyage around the world. Today’s destination: New Orleans! VAMPIRE POOL PARTY, penned by author Adrian Van Young, takes place in New Orleans and tells the story of a bold little girl named Addie, who is just a little obsessed with vampires. As part of our Diversity on the Bookshelf initiative, the characters, as well as the colorful multi-cultural music by singer Yeahwon Shin and her band, reflect the diversity of the setting. Pictures by illustrator Andrea Bell, for some creepily-cute fun! Madeleine Editions presents beautiful, immersive story experiences for modern families. Our mission is to help children cultivate an ear for languages and a taste for the creative arts during this sensitive age. Each story is an original collaboration between writers, musicians and illustrators from all over the world.
