Make every strum start in tune. Ukulele Tuner puts your G C E A strings, reference sounds and a clear pitch needle together in one focused check. Its pitch tracker follows a sustained plucked string through some background noise, helping you make small, confident adjustments. Know your tuning Use Ukulele Tuner with soprano, concert or tenor instruments set up for re-entrant high-G tuning. The configured notes are G4, C4, E4 and A4: the G string is higher in pitch than the C string. This setup is different from low-G or baritone tuning. - See the detected note, octave and frequency. - Follow visual feedback for sharp or flat pitch. - Tap a string button to hear its reference sound. - Compare what you hear with the note on the screen. Precision you can see Ukulele Tuner shows the note, octave and frequency in hertz. Its cent-based needle helps you move from “almost there” to in tune with small, accurate adjustments. When the sound is too uncertain, the detector waits for a clearer note instead of guessing. Get the best of both approaches: follow the needle or tap a recorded reference and tune by ear. A simple way to tune by ear Listen to a reference, pluck the matching string, and make a small adjustment. Ukulele Tuner gives beginners and returning players both a sound to compare and a visual pitch check before practice. Chromatic mode and A4 settings Switch to chromatic mode when you want to follow other notes. Set the pitch-detection A4 reference between 430 and 450 Hz, including 432, 440 and 442 Hz. The recorded G C E A sounds are fixed references; they do not change pitch with the A4 setting. Get ready for your next song Allow microphone access and play one string at a time. For your most accurate reading, let one string ring clearly near the microphone. If nearby noise drowns out your ukulele, move closer or find a quieter spot. Let the note ring while you watch the needle. Open Ukulele Tuner for a focused high-G check before your next song. Built on tuner experience Our tuner apps have helped millions of users. Ukulele Tuner brings that experience to a focused high-G tuning check.
