Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: MiruXR at every 4 days against Xerall's every 15 months. MiruXR also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). Xerall's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Xerall against 5.0 for MiruXR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MiruXR has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Xerall ships an update every 15 months, MiruXR every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
