A minimalist timer that still reaches you when the phone is locked. Pick a length — from a preset, or with hour, minute and second pickers — and it counts down in big, readable numbers on a black screen. Need to be done by a certain time? Count down to a clock time instead. Or count up like a stopwatch. When time is up the screen flashes orange and the alarm sounds. Set an interval and it pings you along the way — every ten seconds, or every ten minutes. The alarm is handed to iOS as a notification, so it still fires when the app is in the background or your phone is locked. One honest note: like any notification sound, it follows your ringer switch — if your phone is on silent, the alert arrives silently. • Count down from a length, or down to a clock time • Count up, like a stopwatch • Interval pings with a tone and an orange flash • The screen stays awake while it runs, so you can put the phone down • Remembers your last setting • Free. No ads, no accounts, no tracking • iPhone and iPad
