Paperclip

Opens Outlook .msg, winmail.dat, .eml and .pst files on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Everything is free during launch, at least through October. Viewing will always be free. Converting, batch export and Quick Look become a one-time purchase later. Download during launch and they stay free for you, for good. No subscription, now or ever. Somebody sent you a winmail.dat, an Outlook .msg, or a whole .pst archive, and your Mac shrugged. Paperclip opens them. You get the message with its formatting, every attachment it can find, and the meeting invite hiding inside, on your Mac and on your phone. PST ARCHIVES, WITHOUT THE IMPORT Outlook imports a .pst into a mailbox, which needs an account and mixes the archive into your live mail. Paperclip opens the file where it sits. Browse the folders, sort the messages and search the whole archive, large files and old ANSI PSTs included. The archive stays where it is, separate from your mail. ON THE MAC Double-click a file or drop it into Paperclip. Drag attachments out. Add the invite to Calendar, recurring ones included. Print a message or export it as .eml or PDF. Point it at a folder and batch-convert it, up to 500 files at a time. After the first launch, select a .msg in Finder and press Space for a Quick Look preview. ON IPHONE AND IPAD Open from Files or the share sheet. Read the message with its formatting and attachments, browse and search the same PST archives, open nested messages in place, preview or share attachments, and add invites to Calendar. NO SILENT FAILURES A blank window is not an answer. Paperclip shows everything it found, and if part of a file is damaged it tells you what opened, what didn't, and what it recovered. YOUR FILES STAY ON YOUR DEVICE Paperclip parses them on your Mac, iPhone or iPad. No account, no upload, no analytics. Remote images and tracking pixels stay blocked unless you allow them for one message. If a file doesn't open, write to support@offmetalabs.com. That is a bug, and it gets treated like one.
