sSLOPE
Perform quick slope stability analyses on your mobile device. This app uses the simplified Bishop method to calculate the Factor of Safety for soil and rock slopes, supporting various conditions like water tables, external loads, and seismic forces.
- Analyze horizontally layered soil slopes (up to 7 layers)
- Incorporate water table effects and ponded water
- Apply vertical external loading
- Model pseudo-static seismic loads
- Simulate End Anchored and Soil Nail support
- Adjust failure surface search limits
- Utilize Mohr-Coulomb and Hoek-Brown strength criteria
- Generate and email PDF reports

sSLOPE is designed to perform a quick slope stability analysis on your phone device. sSLOPE is very simple and easy to use. sSLOPE uses the simplified Bishop method (method of slices) to discretize the soil/rock mass and determine the Factor of Safety (FOS). sSLOPE has the following features: • The stability of horizontally layered soil slope (up to maximum 7 layers) can be analyzed using the latest version (i.e. sSLOPE v3.0). • Water Table can be used for calculating pore pressure. The Water Table can also be used to define ponded water above the slope surface. • Vertical external loading (compression distributed pressure) can be easily applied to the upper slope of a model. • Pseudo-static seismic loads can be added to model by defining the seismic load coefficients in the horizontal and/or vertical directions. • The End Anchored and Soil Nail support can be used to model slope reinforcement. • Failure surface search limits can be modified to narrow down the search area to achieve better accuracy. • Both Mohr-Coulomb and Generalized Hoek-Brown strength criterion can be used to assess stability of soil and rock slopes. • The Settings Tab can be used to configure the main analysis parameters for the model, such as Units of Measurement, Project Title and etc. • The brief summary of analysis results and input data will be displayed in the Report Page. The report button, allows user to save the current model’s input and output information into PDF file. The generated report file can be sent out via email.

SectionPro is a comprehensive cross-section analysis software developed by bridge engineers for civil and structural engineering professionals. It's capable of analyzing virtually any type of cross-section : reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, structural steel, composites and more complex custom-material cross-sections. It combines a high-performance computation engine with an intuitive, modern interface. GEOMETRY - A fast mode for defining standard cross-sections used by structural engineers : rectangular, circular, elliptical, hexagonal, octagonal, beams, shear wall, etc. Can be solid or hollow, with automatic rebar layout, plus custom sections via import of XY coordinates or definition of successive primitives (segments, circular and elliptical arcs). - An advanced mode, which can be used to build virtually any section component by component : multiple concrete and structural-steel domains, embedded standard profiles (IPE, HEB…), passive reinforcement, prestressing cables and thin steel plates. Can be used to model reinforced and prestressed concrete members, structural-steel profiles, composite steel-concrete columns or beams, multi-cell box girders or composite bridge piers. MATERIALS Concrete and steel constitutive laws can be generated automatically for the selected code with only a few input parameters. Supported: Eurocode 2, ACI 318, BAEL 91, CSA A23.3 and CSA S6:19, AASHTO LRFD, SIA 262, IRC:SP:112 and IS 456, NBR 6118. In the advanced mode each component has its own material law, which can be defined using typical models (parabolic-rectangle for concrete, elasto-plastic with hardening for steel, etc), or through point by point or polynomial functions which lets you define any stress-strain law from experimental data. ANALYSES - Mechanical characteristics : area, centroid, moments of inertia, extreme fibers, torsion constant, shear areas. - Stress and strain verification : internal equilibrium state, strain and stress distribution, internal forces and governing load case. - Reinforcement design : minimum steel area to ensure mechanical resistance. One or more materials may be at exactly the failure strain in compression or tension. - 3D interaction surface : N-My-Mz resistance boundary with built-in 3D viewer. - Verification and design via interaction surface : distance to the resistance boundary, safety margin, and minimum reinforcement to ensure mechanical resistance. - Interaction curves : 2D interaction curve, with one component fixed. Envelope mode to allow the analysis of multiple values of the fixed component. - Stiffness curves : M-χ and N-ε, pushover and cracked stiffness. - Second-order effects : methodology based on curvature evaluation, allows to compute the second order moment amplification, the critical load and the failure mode (mechanical or instability). - Crack width and spacing : characteristic width wk and spacing per the Eurocode 2 methodology. - Fire analysis : transient thermal field and thermo-mechanical computations such as resistance check, interaction surface, time to failure, etc., with temperature-degraded concrete and steel. IMPORT AND EXPORT Import geometries and bulk load cases from CAD and finite-element outputs. Export geometry, materials, loads and results to TXT, XLS and PDF formats. WHY SECTIONPRO Precision : exact integration of constitutive laws, analytical solutions on curved geometries. Performance : hundreds of thousands of load cases in under a second. Usability : automatic rebar layouts, import tools, interface in 11 languages, light and dark mode. FREE TRIAL SectionPro is free to evaluate: all analyses and design codes are accessible with limited geometries and analyses, no custom material laws, and a trial notice on exports. Premium removes all restrictions on mobile, tablet and desktop. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
