Solo 33
Read full descriptionHide full description
Solo 33 is peg solitaire the way it was meant to be played: a wooden board, 33 holes, 32 marbles and one empty space in the middle. Jump a marble over its neighbor, take the jumped marble off the board, and keep going. Leave a single marble in the center and you have solved it. Simple to learn. Genuinely hard to master. HOW TO PLAY ⢠Select a marble, or drag it straight to where you want it ⢠Jump horizontally or vertically over an adjacent marble into an empty hole ⢠The marble you jumped over is removed ⢠The game ends when no jump is left ā aim for one marble in the center FEATURES ⢠The classic 33-hole English board ⢠Click, tap or drag ā whichever feels natural ⢠Unlimited undo and redo, so one bad jump never ends a good run ⢠Built-in solver: when you are stuck, Hint shows a move that still leads to a perfect finish ⢠Your game saves itself ā close the app mid-puzzle and pick it up later ⢠Statistics for games finished, perfect solves, best result and total moves ⢠Sound and haptic feedback, each switched on or off on its own ⢠Full VoiceOver support ⢠Native on iPhone, iPad and Mac NO NONSENSE ⢠No ads ⢠No subscriptions ⢠No account, no sign-up ⢠No internet connection needed ⢠No data collected about you Solo 33 is a quiet game. Nothing is counting down, there are no lives to lose and no streak to protect. Play a board over a coffee, or spend a week chasing your first perfect solve.
Solo Test
Read full descriptionHide full description
Solo Test is the peg puzzle you have probably already played ā the round wooden board with the red pegs, sitting on a shelf in half the houses in Turkey. Every hole is filled but one. Jump a peg over its neighbour into the empty hole, and the peg you jumped comes off the board. Keep going until no move is left. The rule takes ten seconds to learn. Finishing takes rather longer: the aim is to leave exactly one peg. THREE BOARDS ⢠Classic (33 holes) ā the English board. Land your last peg in the centre and the game is perfect. ⢠European (37 holes) ā wider, with more room to move. ⢠Triangle (15 holes) ā small, quick, and stubborn. THREE LOOKS ⢠Modern ā dark, flat, geometric. ⢠Nostalgic ā the red plastic board you remember. ⢠Wooden ā turned beech, dished holes and standing pawns, lit like the real object. WHAT IS IN IT ⢠A hint button backed by a real solver rather than a guess: it finds a move that keeps the game winnable. ⢠A warning when the position can no longer be won, so you know when to start again. ⢠Three online leaderboards, one for each board. ⢠Your own record: best result, games played, and your current streak. ⢠Turkish and English. ⢠A short tutorial the first time you play, and whenever you want it again. NO FUSS ⢠No ads. ⢠No sign-up. The leaderboard asks for a name and nothing else. ⢠Plays entirely offline. Only the leaderboard needs a connection, and a score you set offline is sent the next time you have one.
