Decibel Dial

Decibel turns your iPhone into a sound level meter. Open it, tap Start, and see how loud your surroundings are. - Live level in dBA (how your ears hear) or dBZ (flat) - Fast or Slow response, like a professional meter - Minimum, average (Leq) and maximum for each session - A chart of the last 60 seconds - A plain-language guide, from "Very quiet" to "Dangerous" - Calibration offset, to match your readings to a reference meter Decibel doesn't record, save or send audio. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. A phone microphone isn't a certified sound level meter. Use the readings as an estimate, and calibrate against a reference meter if you need accurate numbers.
