BeanThere is a social coffee journal for rating coffee shops and home made brew . Every cup you drink gets a real review, a photo, a few notes — and everything you log builds into a map, a profile, and a set of badges you actually had to earn. TWO KINDS OF REVIEW Cafe Hopper — you're out. Pick the cafe from the list of places nearest to you, rate the cup, and it lands on the map for everyone else. Home Barista — you're at the machine. Log the beans (scan the bag), the grinder and setup, and how the shot actually came out. A MAP OF EVERY CUP Reviewed cafes appear with their average score — green for the good ones, gold for solid, rust for the ones to skip. Tap a pin for the cafe's page: its overall rating, its scores broken down, and every review left there. No cafe shows up until someone has actually reviewed it, so the map is built entirely by people, not by listings. A FEED THAT'S ACTUALLY YOURS Three ways to read it — Following for the people you've chosen, Near Me for what's being poured around you right now, and Recent for everything new. Search for other caffe lovers, follow them, and watch their cups roll in. BEANS, NOT JUST CAFES Scan the bag and BeanThere recognises the coffee — roaster, origin, process. Give the bean its own rating, tag the flavors you taste, and rate acidity, body and sweetness. Every bean has a page with what drinkers taste and the cafes that serve it, and every roaster has one too. Review a bean on its own, add a photo of the bag, and share any bean to your story. Search by name, roaster or flavor — "milk chocolate" finds the beans that taste like it. BADGES YOU EARN BY DRINKING - Heavy Hitter — you keep ordering it strong - Plant-Based Patrol — oat, almond and soy loyalist - Home Barista — three or more home brews logged - Espresso Purist — no milk, no compromise - Harsh Critic — tough but fair RATE WHAT MATTERS Give every cup your own coffee rating from 1 to 5, in half points. That's the score. Then add the details: flavor balance, coffee strength, vibe and presentation, and latte art for milk drinks. They show on your review without changing your verdict, because a coffee can be strong and still not be good. YOUR PROFILE Your favorite coffee, your bio, your avatar, your badge shelf, and every review you've written in one place. Follower and following lists included. Free. No ads. Just coffee.
