Never miss the moment again. Earshot turns nearby conversation into live captions — with a color and a name for each person talking. Set your iPhone on the table and follow every word at family dinner, at the doctor's office, or over coffee with old friends. A COLOR FOR EVERY VOICE Earshot tells voices apart automatically. Each person gets their own color, so you can see the back-and-forth — not just a wall of words. NAME SOMEONE ONCE. EARSHOT REMEMBERS. Tap a caption to name the person speaking. The next time you talk, they're recognized and labeled by name. Built for the people you talk with every day. KEEP THE CONVERSATION Every session is saved on your phone. Reread it anytime, copy it, or export it as a text file — only when you choose to. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your device, using Apple's on-device speech engine. Your audio and conversations are never uploaded. No account. No ads. No analytics. We couldn't read your conversations if we wanted to — they're not on our servers, because we don't have any. ONE PRICE. YOURS FOR LIFE. A single one-time purchase unlocks Earshot forever. No subscription. Made for anyone who's hard of hearing — and for the families who want them back in the conversation. — Earshot requires iOS 26 or later (it uses Apple's on-device speech engine). Captions are generated automatically and may contain errors; please don't rely on them for medical, legal, or emergency communication. Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Earshot at Free against Analog Clock's $1.99. Earshot also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2). Analog Clock's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.
