Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Incremental at 100% against Tally's 60%. Incremental also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Tally's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 6). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tally sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Incremental asks for nothing beyond the download.
Incremental holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tally has 1.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Tally's written reviews are positive against 100% of Incremental's.
Tally ships an update every 2 weeks, Incremental every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
