Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: LapsHub at freemium against DriverMonitor's subscription. LapsHub also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). DriverMonitor's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.
