Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Idle Press at 4.6 against Bit Idle Clicker's 3.5. Idle Press also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3K vs 14). Bit Idle Clicker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Idle Press sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Bit Idle Clicker asks for nothing beyond the download.
Idle Press holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Idle Press has 3K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Idle Press's written reviews are positive against 36% of Bit Idle Clicker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Idle Press ships an update monthly, Bit Idle Clicker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
