Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: wifi at 100% against MINI RC's 0%. MINI RC's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MINI RC holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of wifi's written reviews are positive against 0% of MINI RC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
wifi ships an update every 2 months, MINI RC every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
