The key is to explore and resolve your ambivalence, your arguments for and against change, and then make a commitment to get started! MI Coach is facilitated by internationally recognized MI practitioner and trainer, Dr. Stan Steindl, via short instructional videos, key exercises and activities, and practical goal setting. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Ceekr at 5.0 against MI Coach's 4.0. Ceekr also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MI Coach's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Ceekr sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and MI Coach sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Ceekr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Ceekr's written reviews are positive against 100% of MI Coach's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Ceekr ships an update every 9 days, MI Coach every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
