تخدُمُ مدونة "صوامت اللغة العربية ACOCO" أو "الأصوات العربية" الفصل الأكاديميَّ بتقريب جوانب عِدّة للغة العربية للجهات والمعلمين والطلبة غير الناطقين؛ على سبيل المثال تراعي الوحدات الصوتية العربية التي لا يوجد لها مقابل في اللغات المختلفة "الصينية، والأسبانية، والإنجليزية، والروسية، والألمانية، والإندونيسية، والفرنسية، والأردية، والتركية والهوسا" من حيث نطقها وذلك من واقع رموز أصوات الألفبائية الدولية IPA. يتميز تطبيق "الأصوات العربية"- كذلك- أنه يركز على الوحدات الصوتية الصعبة لدارسي العربية من غير الناطقين على سبيل المثال (الأصوات المطبقة والحلقية والاحتكاكية والمستعلية والمفخمة) في سياقتها المختلفة، من خلال مقاطع فيديو ورسوم متحركة تشرح معلومات تفصيلية عن الأصوات العربية. أقسام التطبيق: قسم "الصوامت" يساعد الطلبة على التمييز عند النطق أو الاستماع بين صوتين مُتقاربي المخرج أو بمعنى أدق متقاربين في النطق، من هذه الأصوات- مثلا- الضاد وتداخلها والدال، والسين وتداخلها والصاد، والهاء وتداخلها والحاء، والحاء نفسها وتداخلها والخاء، وكذلك الطاء والتاء والقاف والكاف، والزاي والظاء، والعين، والغين. من خلال قسم "الصوامت" يمكنك الاستماع لآلاف التسجيلات الصوتية العالية الجودة من الكلمات الفصيحة المعاصرة الحية التي تتسم بالشيوع والتكرار ويتعامل الناس بها في كل الأقطار العربية سواء على مستوى الحديث أم الكتابة، التي تعكس بدورها واقع اللغة العربية المعاصرة. إذا كنت تجد صعوبة في نطق الأصوات الساكنة العربية التي ليس لها مكافئ في لغتك الأم، وتمثل الأصوات التالية على سبيل المثال وليس الحصر (الظاء والطاء والصاد والضاد والحاء) تحديا صعبا لك في إنتاجها أو الاستماع إليها؛ أنصحك - بالتدريب المتكرر- من خلال "جدول الصوامت" التفاعلي الذي سيساعدك على تعلم العربية والنطق بها نطقًا صحيحًا. من خلال "الترجمان العربي IPA" يمكنك كتابة كلمة عربية والحصول على ترجمتها الصوتية من واقع رموز أصوات الألفبائية الدولية IPA، والاستماع إليها عند النقر على زر استماع. يقف الطلاب من خلال قسم "التدريبات" على الأخطاء الشائعة، مع توجيههم إلى البدائل الصحيحة لتلك الأخطاء. ACOCO utilises Arabic phonetic units, which have no equivalent in some other languages. Those languages considered were Chinese, Spanish, English, Russian, German, Indonesian, French, Urdu, Turkish and Hausa. The corpus thus addresses Arabic pronunciations, in terms of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) symbols. It includes animations, videos, exercises, Arabic to IPA Translator, word and picture of the day, and audio samples that describe the essential features of each of the consonants. ACOCO or Arabic Phonetics is especially useful for students studying Arabic as a second language. ACOCO or Arabic Phonetics contains content for Arabic only.
