Citizen science app for tracking and identifying marked Bearded Vultures in the Pyrenees and Cantabrian Mountains. The study and conservation of the Bearded Vulture requires information about survival, dispersal, home ranges and movements. For this purpose, many birds are identified using metal and PVC rings, wing tags and alphanumeric codes. This app makes it easier to search for and identify marked birds and provides access to individual profiles, photographs, visual markings and other tracking information. The new version also includes satellite tracking, with access to routes and maps for different birds, together with improvements to search, identification profiles, PDF reference sheets and general navigation. Users can also submit sightings and contribute to the knowledge and conservation of this threatened species. Main features: • Search and identification of marked Bearded Vultures. • Individual profiles, photographs and identification markings. • Satellite tracking with routes and maps. • PDF reference sheets for alive, dead and missing birds. • Sighting submission. • Available in Spanish, English and French. The app supports the monitoring and conservation work carried out by the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture (FCQ).
