Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Clock Widget at Free against Cloki's $7.99. Clock Widget also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2). Cloki's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On review sentiment, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Clock Widget is free to download; Cloki costs $7.99 up front. Cloki sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Clock Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Clock Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 34 and 49 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Cloki's written reviews are positive against 57% of Clock Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Cloki ships an update monthly, Clock Widget fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
