Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: FranklinCovey Impact Platform at 4.7 against ExecOnline's 4.2. FranklinCovey Impact Platform also leads on ratings volume (401 vs 23). ExecOnline's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (25% vs 13%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
FranklinCovey Impact Platform holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FranklinCovey Impact Platform has 401 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of ExecOnline's written reviews are positive against 13% of FranklinCovey Impact Platform's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ExecOnline ships an update every 3 weeks, FranklinCovey Impact Platform every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
