This App is used with the HE-FMX Hardware, let you measure thickness from 0 to 12mm. Measurements are made when its magnetic probe is held or scanned on one side of the test surface and a small target magnetic ball is dropped inside the instrument. The probe measures the distance between the probe tip and target ball. The user can use one of the two balls provided (6,0 or 10,0 mm in diameter) according to the needs, the maximum measurable thickness is 12 mm, the accuracy is 0.01mm. The measurement is continuous and, thanks to the unique calibration system, any soft material can be applied to the sensor to prevent it from scratching instruments already varnished. This app works with the HE-FMX digital thickness gauge and is designed to measure material thicknesses from 0 to 12 mm. The measurement is based on magnetic coupling. A small ferromagnetic target ball is placed inside the instrument, behind the area to be measured. The external magnetic probe is positioned or moved across the opposite surface. The HE-FMX detects the distance between the probe tip and the target ball and uses this value to determine the material thickness. Two target balls are supplied, with diameters of 6.0 mm and 10.0 mm. Select the ball that best suits the measurement conditions. The maximum measurable thickness is 12 mm, with readings in 0.01 mm increments. Measurements are acquired continuously as the probe is held against or scanned across the surface. The HE-FMX’s calibration system allows a soft protective layer to be placed on the sensor tip, helping prevent scratches when measuring finished or varnished instruments.dde
