Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Practicing Prayer at none against SimpleBackgrounds's 1. Practicing Prayer also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). SimpleBackgrounds's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.
