Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dice Dice Incremental at free against Spark's free with in-app purchases. Spark's advantage is ratings volume (233 vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spark holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spark has 233 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Spark's written reviews are positive against 100% of Dice Dice Incremental's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Spark ships an update every 3 weeks, Dice Dice Incremental every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
