Sort Your Shelf Out Sortabout is a gentle bookshelf sorting game. There is no score. No timer. No “wrong” order. No streaks, no levels, nothing chasing you. You arrange a shelf of beautiful old books — by colour, by author, by title, or by their Dewey Decimal numbers — and when the shelf looks right to you, you're done. That's the whole game. It was made for people who are a little too online. Every choice serves calm: you choose when you are done, no-one else. Nothing is ever judged, and when you finish, a breathing light gently suggests this might be a good moment to look away from the screen. • No scores, no timers, no judgement — ever • 464 real public-domain books to arrange. If you see one you like - click through and download it to your e-reader for free. • Sort by colour, or by names and numbers — author, title, or Dewey Decimal • A Colour Lab for designing your own palettes allows more than 5,000 unique shelf combinations • Reading-room atmospheres and adjustable book heights to match your mood exactly • Gentle generative sound and soft haptics that mix under your own music, podcast or team meeting • No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no internet — nothing is collected, ever • Every game is a "self-portrait" to share with those worthy to truly know you Sort a shelf. Feel it settle. Put your phone down.
