Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: ArmyFit at 4.8 against O2X's 4.2. ArmyFit also leads on ratings volume (5.6K vs 68). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. ArmyFit sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and O2X sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

ArmyFit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ArmyFit has 5.6K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of ArmyFit's written reviews are positive against 66% of O2X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

ArmyFit ships an update every 2 weeks, O2X every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
