The printing systems for printing XKELET immobilisations have the European health certification and FDA. The consumable is certified as biocompatible material and complies with ISO 13485 standard. We have developed a software capable of scanning any part of the body, taking out anthropometric data and building immobilization automatically, for its production in 3D printing technology. The software uses the iPhone's own TrueDepth camera to capture the 3D scan of the limb, with no external scanner or additional accessories required. The whole process, from capture to the design of the immobilisation, is carried out on the same device. We designed the software for the orthopedic and trauma treatment areas, adding the value of the design in each piece manufactured and with easy-to-use tools for the medical specialist. We are collecting the point cloud from body parts to generate a mesh. We collect this information to generate personalized immobilization products. We scan the limbs using the TrueDepth API and we use that mesh to design the personalized immobilizations.
