E-Parks is an innovative app for the visitors of protected natural areas in Western Greece. It is a product of the E-Parks Project, which stands for Environmental and Administrative knowledge Networks for a Better Tourist Attractiveness in Protected Natural Areas and aims at enhancing the accessibility and the touristic potential of protected natural areas (PNAs) in Apulia Region and Greece. The University of Foggia – Department of Economics leads the project partnership in cooperation with two italian partners Gargano National Park and Gargano Reclamation Consortium, and two greek partners the Chamber of Commerce of Arta and the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece. The ASL of Foggia and Confindustria Foggia are associated partners of the project. The app caters for people with special needs, providing useful information for each point of interest. This information is dynamically updated so that the accessibility state of each place is current.
