On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for FaceEcho against 4.6 for FaceGenius. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceEcho has 298 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of FaceEcho's written reviews are positive against 100% of FaceGenius's.
FaceEcho ships an update every 5 days, FaceGenius every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
