Making life easier for nursery and pre-school parents to communicate with their nursery. Parents can send notifications directly to the nursery requesting any booking pattern changes, extra sessions, changes to emergency contact details, new allergy requirements, etc. The Nursery can also send notifications to parents keeping them up to date with emergency closures, newsletters, etc. This app allows parents to keep their children’s registration form details up-to-date including collection passwords, emergency contacts, permissions, consents and much more. We also allow parents to view all their invoices to date and see all payments made to their children’s account. This also reduces any confusion of how much is outstanding on their account. Booking patterns clearly displayed for all current and future sessions enabling the parent to see exactly when their children are scheduled to be attending the nursery. Funding (HMRC) eligibility codes can be kept up to date to ensure the parents don’t miss out on any funding claims. This app is designed to give parents access to parent admin on the go on any device, anytime, anywhere.

FIRST NUMBERS While rote learning is important when learning maths, it can sometimes cause confusion when seeing the written number, particularly when the numbers are out of sequence. This app aids number recognition and compliments early maths. It is a simple, easy to use, no frills app. It has been developed for convenience, aimed at casual use as well as for the classroom. However, unlike many early learning aids, this app is “age appropriate”, making it accessible to all and useful for those with additional learning needs. The app can be re-visited frequently for short, quick revisions and the counter can be used for setting personal goals. This app is a perfect assessment tool for teachers, parents and students. USING THE APP 1. Select the number of ‘First Numbers’ you wish to practise. 2. Click the ‘play’ symbol to advance through the numbers. 3. The objective is to speed up random number recognition. 4. The counter can be used to create goals. Learning note: Advance to the next level at your leisure but be prepared to go back to re-enforce where necessary. PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT When teaching maths as with reading, it may be that we do not put enough emphasis on “DATA OVERLOAD”. A pupil can struggle to recognise the number even though you are sure they know it, purely because there is too much data in front of them. As the student’s number recognition develops, so their potential to develop computational skills will increase. With practise, improvement in speed of neurological processing, anxiety in coping with more data per page is reduced, giving the student more confidence to progress. As stated earlier, we have purposely randomised the numbers to avoid rote learning. However, due to this randomisation, numbers will occasionally appear consecutively, particularly in early stages. This is a progressive learning tool, therefore the first 10 numbers will appear within the first 20 numbers and so on. ACTIVE THERAPY FOUNDATION Active Therapy Foundation is a UK charity with aims of promoting social inclusion, providing innovative and dedicated coaching therapy programmes, making "Active therapy" available to all, thus developing skills and enabling individuals to participate more fully in society. Active therapy explores ways of developing higher achievement levels for people with disabilities. It pushes the boundaries of “accept and adapt” and has a direct approach to systematic problem solving. The programme is practically based, working on the principle of self-achievement. It is designed to explore ways of giving a feeling of achievement at ALL levels of ability, breaking down the skills sufficiently so that EVERYONE CAN SUCCEED.
