Root Board Game vs ロンメル1942

Play the digital adaptation of the beloved tabletop board game. Root is a game of adventure and war where 2 to 4 players battle for control of a vast wilderness. The nefarious Marquise de Cat has seized the great woodland, intent on harvesting its riches. Under her rule, the many creatures of the forest have banded together. This Alliance will seek to strengthen its resources and subvert the rule of Cats. In this effort, the Alliance may enlist the help of the wandering Vagabonds who are able to move through the more dangerous woodland paths. Though some may sympathize with the Alliance’s hopes and dreams, these wanderers are old enough to remember the great birds of prey who once controlled the woods. Meanwhile, at the edge of the region, the proud, squabbling Eyrie have found a new commander who they hope will lead their faction to resume their ancient birthright. The stage is set for a contest that will decide the fate of the great woodland. It is up to the players to decide which group will ultimately take root.

●ロンメルの北アフリカ戦線 キャンペーンシナリオにおいて、プレイヤーはドイツの名将ロンメルとなりイギリス軍と戦います。ここではプレイ結果に応じてポイントを獲得。そのポイントを消費して次の作戦に投入する戦力を決定します。余ったポイントは最終ステージでボーナス要素になる場合があります。キャンペーンシナリオプレイ後は、ヒストリカルシナリオが開放され、イギリス軍側でのプレイも可能となります。 ●収録内容 ・キャンペーンシナリオ「ドイツアフリカ軍団1942」 ・ヒストリカルシナリオ「クルセイダー作戦」 ・ヒストリカルシナリオ「ガザラの戦い」 ・ヒストリカルシナリオ「エル・アラメインの戦い」 ●ロンメル1942とは　―各ヒストリカルシナリオの概要― ・クルセイダー作戦 北アフリカで活躍するロンメルに対し、連合軍が大規模な反撃を展開。 この作戦を、こまあぷ「総統指令」の基本ルールを用いてシナリオ化。 ・ガザラの戦い クルセイダー作戦後、退却したロンメルはトブルクの奪還作戦を実施。 こまあぷ「ガザラの戦い」のセットアップを流用、ルールを変更したシナリオ。 ・エル・アラメインの戦い ガサラの戦いで勝利したロンメルはその勢いでエジプトへ侵攻し、 後がないイギリス軍はエルアラメインに布陣。この地での戦闘をシナリオ化。
