iZhuangZi

iZhuangZi is an offline Zhuangzi study companion, not a clip-book reader. All 33 chapters are here: 7 Inner, 15 Outer, 11 Miscellaneous. About 701 paragraphs of source text include study vernacular and public-domain English, aligned paragraph by paragraph, plus about 90 famous lines, 20 parable index items, and a concept map. No sign-up. No ads. No tracking. The text stays on your device. Why it is different 1. It is a study loop: read side by side, go immersive, listen, practice, save favorites, keep a streak, and put Daily Zhuangzi on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. 2. Vernacular and English turn on or off on their own, apart from side by side, Chinese only, and English only. 3. Recitation, Study, Seek Zhuang, parables, concepts, Xiaoyao cards, widgets, and Shortcuts all open the same Zhuangzi. 4. No account. Offline text. Study data stays on device by default, with optional sync to your iCloud. Read, listen, and study 1. Switch among side by side, Chinese only, and English only. Traditional characters, pinyin, vertical or centered layout, type size, and sectioned reading for long chapters. 2. Incomplete vernacular is labeled. Missing English falls back to Chinese. Touch and hold a paragraph to copy, speak it, or use system translation. 3. Full-screen immersion hides chrome. Guides sit on the same page as the text. 4. Recitation highlights the current paragraph. Rate, pitch, volume, and voice are adjustable. 5. The Playback Content matrix speaks source text, vernacular, or English without changing the screen. 6. Continuous play, background audio, Lock Screen Now Playing, optional Live Activities, and resume after an interruption. 7. Zhuangzi Study has fade, fill-in, recall check, and quiz. Practice a chapter, a section, or a list. 8. Seek Zhuang finds short lines from the whole book. Handwriting seek recognizes ink on device (iPhone and iPad). Daily pick, browse, and save 1. A daily pick, local notifications, optional seasonal context, resume reading, and a streak. 2. Home shortcuts open recitation, Study, famous lines, parables, concepts, Seek Zhuang, and Ask Zhuangzi. 3. Browse by Inner, Outer, Miscellaneous, theme, and author, plus famous lines, parables, and concepts. 4. List, grid, and card layouts. Hidden tabs still open from shortcuts and deep links. 5. Favorites and custom lists, drag reorder, notes, history, and search with a highlighted snippet. Share cards, Ask Zhuangzi, and system features 1. Twelve Xiaoyao card styles, optional vernacular or English, save or share. 2. On supported devices, Ask Zhuangzi explains a chapter on-device and uploads nothing. If it cannot run, built-in guides open in place. 3. Widgets for Daily Zhuangzi, famous lines, study progress, and favorites, including Lock Screen and StandBy. 4. On iOS 18 and later, add Today, Random, Search, Study, Ask Zhuangzi, Favorites, Recite, and more to Control Center. 5. Siri, Shortcuts, Home Screen quick actions, and deep links open the main features. Settings and privacy 1. Light, dark, or system. Accent colors. Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English. Seven alternate icons on iOS. 2. A six-page tour and full guides. Reduce Motion, Dynamic Type, and VoiceOver labels are used. 3. Study data lives on device. Optional iCloud sync uses your Apple ID. No third-party analytics. No ads. 4. Open Daily Zhuangzi, read side by side, then recite or study. Put must-read chapters in a list and use a widget. Devices and the text iPhone, iPad, and Mac. iOS 17 or later, and macOS 14 or later. Some widgets and Live Activities depend on the system version. The Chinese source is a public-domain classic. English follows James Legge, 1891, aligned for study. Vernacular notes are for learning, not a scholarly last word. iZhuangZi is a way to walk through 33 chapters by reading, listening, and practice. Start with Daily Zhuangzi. One chapter, a little more room, is enough.

QM Simulator is a hands-on quantum physics atlas: 54 interactive simulation modules spanning the full arc from quantum foundations to quantum information, paired with 47 bilingual articles. Every computation and rendering happens on your device β no network, no sign-up. WHAT YOU CAN DO β’ Play with parameters: adjust slit spacing, raise a potential barrier, tune cavity coupling β every chart recomputes in real time. β’ Learn by level: Basics β Advanced (perturbation, degeneracy, radiation) β Topics (Bell inequalities, quantum error correction, Grover's algorithm), from high-school extension to university QM. β’ Read linked notes: each article is tied to its simulation, with formulas and figures side by side β switch between Chinese and English anytime. β’ Explore freely: Bloch sphere, hydrogen wavefunctions, blackbody radiation, Compton scattering, KronigβPenney, BB84 quantum key distribution β from Planck's 1900 hypothesis to today's quantum computing. WHO IT'S FOR β’ Physics students: turn textbook formulas into images you can see and manipulate. β’ Educators & researchers: validate intuitions and demonstrate in class. β’ The curious: no derivation skills needed β dial the parameters and build quantum intuition. HIGHLIGHTS β’ 54 simulation modules, all driven by real physics computation (not pre-baked animations). β’ 47 in-depth articles, fully bilingual, with figures and code. β’ Fully offline: no ads, no purchases, no tracking, no account required. β’ Chinese & English UI, follows system language. Educational use: QM Simulator works as a lecture-demonstration companion for quantum mechanics courses.
