Note: To use this app, you will need a Dirac capable device. This device must additionally support connecting a microphone - you cannot use your phone as a microphone with this app. If your device does not support a microphone, instead use the desktop version. No matter how much you’ve invested in your sound system, your room will always have an impact on the sound quality – an all-too-often overlooked fact. Dirac Live Room Correction deals with these challenges in a unique way by addressing the issues that no other product on the market can. That’s why Dirac Live has been adopted by the world’s leading manufacturers of high-end audio-video equipment and praised by audiophiles and music creators all over the world. Room correction solutions have been around for decades. But we at Dirac realize these only act as advanced equalizers, smoothing the frequency curve but totally missing the timing aspect. Room reflections and misaligned speakers will cause sounds to arrive at your ears with different time delays, blurring the sound image. With Dirac Live® you’ll experience three key benefits: 1. Improved localization of sound events, or staging. 2. Better clarity and intelligibility in both music and speech. 3. A deeper, tighter bass response, free of resonance throughout the entire listening area. Dirac Live on iOS provides a richer user experience and better interactivity compared to using an on-screen display with remote control. For existing users of Dirac Live on iOS, you will enjoy the following enhancements: 1. A new and unique algorithm that tailors the target curve to your room and sound system. 2. A tool that lets you design your sound profile by adjusting two bars with your fingertips. 3. A simplified calibration process with fewer steps. Dirac Live® makes use of QT. QT is licensed under LGPLv3. For more information about Dirac Live please visit https://www.dirac.com/live/

Link is a small box that connects to the RS-232 control jack on your preamplifier and puts a proper remote on every phone, tablet and computer in the house. This app does two things: SET UP A NEW LINK Open the app, and it finds your Link over Bluetooth, shows the Wi-Fi networks the Link can see, and joins it to your home network. One minute, no hotspot switching, no typing IP addresses. The Bluetooth link is used only for this step and only talks to the Link box itself. CONTROL YOUR SYSTEM After setup the app opens the Link remote on your local network: • Volume with a firmware-enforced soft limit — the Link never sends an absolute volume, only single steps, and it caps them at the limit you set • One-tap mute, input selection with your own input names • Bass and treble, output 1/2 switching, meter and tube lights • Now-playing with transport controls for an Eversolo streamer on the same network • B&W DB1 subwoofer gain, presets and mute • McIntosh MEN220 room-correction mode and voicing • Two preamplifiers on one Link, each with its own tab Everything stays on your home network. There is no account, no cloud service and no tracking. The app itself never contacts the internet. COMPATIBLE EQUIPMENT A Link unit (or Link Pro) is required. Link controls preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers and processors that have a modern 3.5 mm RS-232 control jack, including the McIntosh C2700, C2800, C2600, C55, C53, C52, C49, C47, C1100, C12000, MA5300 to MA12000, MHT300, MX100 and MX200, and network-connected devices from Lyngdorf, Rotel/Michi, Denon/Marantz, NAD, Yamaha, Onkyo/Integra, Arcam, Anthem, Audio Research, Mark Levinson, Primare, Meridian, Trinnov, Krell and Classé. See the user manual for the full list. Link is an independent product from Play and Track AB. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by McIntosh Laboratory, Inc. or any other manufacturer named above; their names are used only to state, factually, which models Link is compatible with.
