VENUE | Function Pad vs DM StageMix

Avid VENUE™ | Function Pad gives you remote control over S6L Snapshots and Events, enabling you to trigger functions from your iPad or iPhone. Just connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Avid VENUE | S6L live sound system and select the system to control (if more than one is connected). You can customize the app’s switches for easier function identification, organization, and navigation. You can even connect multiple iOS devices running the app—as well as the VENUE | On-Stage app—to your system simultaneously. Requirements: · Avid VENUE | S6L system running VENUE 6.1.0 or later · Wireless router connected to the ECx port of the S6L console

DM StageMix is an application for the Apple iPad that provides remote control of Yamaha DM7/DM5 series digital mixing system functions via a simple, intuitive graphical interface from anywhere within wireless range. The software has been specifically designed to allow engineers to adjust monitor mixes from the performers’ positions on stage, directly controlling mix parameters via the iPad rather than having to rely on verbal directions to a second engineer. The result is better mixes in less time; a huge advantage during high-pressure pre-show setup. Although StageMix is focused on the requirements for adjusting monitor mixes on stage, its range of features is continually expanding, allowing it to be used for a wider variety of remote control functions.
