It is for use by clinicians that have competed a Blatchford approved Linx training course and will require an authorization code. The Linx Programming App as part of the Linx Transfemoral Prosthetic Limb System conforms to all applicable regulatory requirements for medical devices in the European Union and North America and all other countries that recognise the regulatory requirements in these regions.

Available on phone or tablet, this app allows users to connect their Steeper Myo Kinisi device via Bluetooth to carry out firmware updates without the need to visit their prosthetic clinic. A unique login for clinicians allows further access to change to the mode or settings of the Steeper Myo Kinisi hand; including adjustments to threshold and control strategies, enhancing or improving the user experience by modifying the device to meet the specific needs of the individual patient. View input signal graphs as they happen to adjust the settings within each mode to suit your patient. A demo mode is also available for training purposes. If your patient’s hand is to return for servicing or repair and a loan unit provided, simply copy the settings via the app from one hand to another, saving you and the user valuable time in clinic.
