This is the PneumoRecs VaxAdvisor App created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in collaboration with the Georgia Tech Research Institute. PneumoRecs VaxAdvisor provides patient-specific pneumococcal vaccination guidance consistent with the pneumococcal vaccination recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. Vaccination providers enter a patient’s age and respond to prompts about the patient’s pneumococcal vaccination history and underlying medical conditions. The app then displays patient-specific pneumococcal vaccination recommendations consistent with the recommended U.S. immunization schedule.

About

EZVFC

Features

EZVFC is a professional vaccine inventory and administration management app built for VFC (Vaccines for Children) program participants — clinics, health departments, pediatric practices, and community health centers. MANAGE INVENTORY WITH CONFIDENCE Scan GS1 DataMatrix 2D barcodes directly from vaccine packaging to instantly add new stock. The app automatically reads the lot number, expiration date, and GTIN, then looks up the vaccine's brand name and manufacturer. No manual data entry required. Track multiple lots per vaccine, VFC vs. non-VFC stock, and expiration dates all in one place. ADMINISTER VACCINES ACCURATELY Walk through a guided multi-step workflow: find the patient, build a basket by scanning each vaccine, verify VFC eligibility match, enter provider details, and confirm. All vaccines in a basket are administered in one tap. Inventory decrements automatically and a full audit trail is created. STAY AHEAD OF STOCK ALERTS The home dashboard shows at a glance which vaccines are critically low, low stock, or expiring soon — color-coded by severity. Push notifications alert your team on a schedule you control (daily, weekly, or off), so nothing slips through between app sessions. PATIENT & VACCINATION HISTORY Search patients by name or Medical Record Number (MRN). View demographics, payor type, VFC eligibility, and a complete chronological vaccination history — provider name, vaccine administered, lot number, and date given. ROLE-BASED ACCESS FOR YOUR TEAM Assign roles to every team member: Super Admin, Admin, Nurse, or Viewer. Admins can edit stock quantities, void incorrect administrations (with reason and full audit trail), and manage organization settings. Nurses handle daily administration workflows. Viewers have read-only access. SECURE BY DESIGN EZVFC automatically locks after 30 minutes of inactivity to protect patient health information (PHI). Re-authenticate instantly with Face ID or Touch ID — no password re-entry required. Sessions are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. MULTI-ORGANIZATION SUPPORT Manage multiple clinics or facilities from a single account. Switch organizations in one tap. Each organization maintains independent inventory, patients, and administration records. KEY FEATURES - Barcode scanning for fast, accurate vaccine intake - Real-time stock level dashboard with severity alerts - Full patient vaccination history - VFC eligibility tracking and mismatch warnings - Role-based access control (Admin, Staff) - Biometric re-authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) - Push notifications for stock and expiration alerts - Administration void with reason and audit trail - Multi-organization support - 30-minute PHI auto-lock EZVFC is designed for healthcare professionals who need a reliable, fast, and compliant vaccine management tool at the point of care.
