SpinalTech3D Scan vs OrthoCloud Structure

This app uses the Structure SDK / TrueDepth camera for 3D scanning. Supported device list (updated regularly): https://techmed3d.zohodesk.com/portal/en/kb/articles/minimun-device-requirements Our SpinalTech3D Scan app refines the process of ordering custom spinal orthoses in the Orthotic field. You can order from Spinal Technology by electronically integrating 3D scans, images, practitioner instructions, and filling out our custom spinal and scoliosis orthometry forms.  With this app, practitioners can take 3D scans, include images to denote anatomical landmarks, then write comments and instructions on the images and, using Tech Med 3D software, combine all images and documentation into one electronic file that is emailed to Spinal Technology, Inc.  When the file is received in-house, we use our proprietary software to modify the image based on the patient information and the brace design that the practitioner selects. The modified file is loaded to one of our six carvers to produce a positive model of the patient’s torso that is further fine-tuned for precise fabrication of a custom orthosis.   

The SpinalTech3D Scan app is designed to work seamlessly with an iPad and Structure Scanner.  There is no cost for the SpinalTech3D Scan app, no conversion fees nor any added cost associated with this technology, yet it will improve accuracy and save time.

OrthoCloud Scanner is a healthcare scanning application used by clinics to capture 3D foot scans for custom orthotic production. The app uses the Structure Sensor to perform depth sensing, 3D mesh reconstruction, and high-accuracy surface capture. Built for use with Structure SDK (for iOS). The scanned model is exported to our OrthoCloud manufacturing system for evaluation, design, and fabrication of custom orthotics.
