Photo Replace swaps a photo in Apple Photos for an edited version, while you keep the option to revert to the original. MADE FOR DUPLICATES Many photo editing apps save your edit as a new photo. Replace the original with the edit and, if you like, delete the duplicate. The photo keeps its place, date and albums. REVERT ANYTIME The replacement goes through the Photos editing system, so the original is never lost. Use Revert in Photos to get it back. KEEPS WHAT MATTERS Orientation, color space and HDR carry over. Live Photos stay live when the edit is a Live Photo too. WORKS WHERE YOU ARE Replace in the app, or automate replacements with the Shortcuts action. Works on iPhone and Mac. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no tracking, no data collection. Your photos never leave your device.
