I used to have a calculator called the FrameMaster. It was wonderful and useful for video editing and animation. Now this function is pretty much built in to the editing apps. However, you may find yourself in the field needing to do some simple timecode calculations, and then, THIS IS APP YOUR BEST FRIEND!

TC Calculator is a fast, no-nonsense timecode calculator built for video and film professionals on set and in post. Add and subtract timecodes in a single tap and read the result instantly, with live conversions to frames, seconds, and feet+frames. FRAME RATES Work in any of nine frame rates: 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 48, 50, 59.94, and 60 fps. DROP-FRAME DONE RIGHT Correct drop-frame (DF) and non-drop (NDF) math, including the proper ";" and ":" separators. 29.97 and 59.94 drop-frame are handled exactly, with 24-hour wrap-around. INSTANT CONVERSIONS Every result shows total frames, real-time seconds, and feet+frames (35mm, 16 frames/foot) at a glance.
