Offline maps for iPhone, Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin or Amazfit smartwatch: topographic maps, satellite images, GRIB weather forecast maps and road maps with cycle and hiking trails. Nautical charts are currently only for USA and Canada available. Please watch the video and read the FAQ: http://www.MapChartMosaic.com/ Switch seamlessly between maps from different sources to get detailed information about a location. Map views are automatically stored in an offline cache on your phone, so that you can view them later without an internet connection. Download offline maps to Apple Watch or Fitbit smart watch and view them without connection to your phone. Add map markers and travel routes to the offline maps (e.g. your current car parking location). Create map travel routes. Record your GPS Track. Share map marker, route and track data as GPX files. Get GPS travel info: speed, course, odometer, route ETA (estimated time of arrival)... Get GRIB weather forecast maps via Internet download, Email or Iridium Go satellite connection. You can display the maps also on the Fitbit smart watch. But please don't expect the same maps app performance on the Fitbit as on a phone. The Fitbit is very slow and has very limited space. The Fitbit phone app "Sync" step, shown in the video, is very important. Don't skip it and make sure that the watch app Map Chart is closed during the Sync. DISCLAIMER Do NOT use the app for navigation or any other purpose that may result in personal injury or property damage. Use it at your own risk.

About

Bearing

Features

Bearing is not a boring compass. Open it, and your phone becomes a precision instrument: heading in degrees over a live map inside the dial, true or magnetic north, live declination, and a data card with altitude, speed, pressure, weather, wind, and sunrise / sunset — all on one screen. At sunset it turns itself into a pure red night compass. Built for hikers, orienteers, sailors, pilots, stargazers, and anyone who wants more than a stock compass. COMPASS YOU CAN TRUST • Heading in degrees or mils, with cardinal label (N, NE, E, SE…) • True or magnetic north, one tap to switch • Live declination and heading accuracy on screen • Haptic ticks at every cardinal and intercardinal • Calibration alerts you can turn on or off • Optional map inside the dial, with adjustable width FOLLOW A BEARING Tap the dial or LOCK to hold a bearing. The readout shows how far to turn, ON COURSE when you are on your line, and the back bearing for the way home. A soft haptic fires each time you come back on course. NIGHT VISION, DONE PROPERLY Night Red and Night Green are strictly single-spectrum, map and controls included. No blue or white light spoils your dark-adapted eyes. • Switches automatically from Sunset to Sunrise (computed on the device, works offline) or with iPhone Dark Mode • Night Dimmer and Minimum Screen Brightness • Night sky data: moon phase, moonrise and moonset, astronomical darkness, cloud cover • Polaris finder: its elevation, plus a star on the dial A FULL DATA CARD, ALWAYS VISIBLE Every reading you actually use, no extra taps: • Altitude in meters or feet • Speed in km/h, mph, or knots • Pressure with a 3-hour trend: sea level from Apple Weather, or station pressure from the on-device barometer • Temperature, sky condition, humidity • Wind speed and direction, also marked on the dial • Sunrise and sunset for your exact location Tap any reading to change its unit. Weather comes first-party from Apple WeatherKit. No tracker pixels. COORDINATES, EVERY FORMAT • Live latitude and longitude with GPS accuracy, plus the place name • Decimal Degrees (DD), Degrees Minutes Seconds (DMS), Degrees Decimal Minutes (DDM) • UTM and MGRS for land navigation • Tap to change format, long-press to copy or share WAYPOINTS THAT BRING YOU BACK Save any spot — trailhead, anchorage, summit, your car — with one tap on MARK. Tap a waypoint to navigate: an arrow on the dial points the way, the distance updates as you move, and a haptic tells you when you have arrived. The list is sorted by distance. SUN, MOON, QIBLA • Real-time sun and moon position on the dial • Qibla direction — bearing to Mecca, accurate from anywhere on Earth QUICK CONTROLS • Toolbar: QUICK, LOCK, MARK, NIGHT, SETTINGS • Quick panel with themes, the dimmer, and one-tap tiles • Focus mode: just the heading and the dial SIX THEMES INCLUDED • Tactical (black + warm orange — the default) • Light • Arctic (navy and ice blue) • Solar (amber and gold) • Night Red • Night Green BUILT THE RIGHT WAY • iPhone and iPad, iOS 18.6 or later • In English and 11 more languages • Apple WeatherKit, MapLibre, map data © OpenStreetMap contributors • No accounts. No third-party analytics. No ads. • Your waypoints stay on your device.
