Use your solar power smarter with SolarDashboard. Keep track of your photovoltaic system, electricity consumption and solar surplus at all times. SolarDashboard shows your current energy flows in real time – on iPhone, iPad, Mac and as a convenient widget. Real-time solar monitoring See at a glance how much power your PV system is currently producing, how much electricity you are using and how much energy is being exported to or imported from the grid. Supported systems: SolarEdge, SMA, Kostal, Huawei, Fronius, Growatt, GoodWe and Enphase. Charge your electric car with solar surplus Connect your wallbox and charge your electric car automatically with excess solar energy. SolarDashboard dynamically adjusts the charging power to the available solar energy. You can define: * from which solar power level charging should start * which minimum charge level should be reached * how your solar surplus should be used most efficiently This helps you lower electricity costs, increase self-consumption and use more green power from your own PV system. Supported wallboxes: Easee, Fronius Wattpilot, go-e Charger, Zaptec, NRGkick Connect, SMA EV Charger 22, Wallbox Pulsar Plus and Alfen Eve. SolarDashboard also supports direct vehicle integration for selected electric cars from Audi, SEAT and Škoda. Control smart devices with solar power Use your surplus solar energy for HomeKit or Matter devices. Automatically control air conditioners, infrared heaters, water heaters, pool heaters or smart plugs with green power. Also ideal for using an iPad as a central home automation device. Your benefits More independence: Use more self-generated electricity and become less dependent on the grid. Lower electricity costs: Increase your self-consumption and reduce your electricity bill. More sustainability: Use your own green electricity instead of power from fossil sources. SolarDashboard is available for free. Some features, such as automatic solar surplus charging, require a subscription that can be cancelled at any time.
KidScanner
Read full descriptionHide full description
KidScanner gives you control over who may pick up your kids from school, class, church, creche, play school, the babysitting service, or anywhere else you need to leave your kids in other's care. Start by loading your profile and your kids onto your App. Other people who you trust to pick up drop off your kids create their profiles on their apps and link to your profile. A unique one-time pin ensures that not just anybody can link to your profile. Schools, creches, babysitting services, churches, play schools, or other places taking care of kids register venues by contacting support@johnsonwalters.com and link app users as teachers for their venues. Using the KidScanner app the teacher can accept kids into the venue or class. All venues go through a verification process to ensure that they are legitimate. Parents scan kids into a venue by scanning the QR Code on the teacher's app. The teacher has immediate access to medical information for every kid in their care, for example that the kid has asthma and that the spare inhaler is in the bag, and is able to see emergency contact details for the parent if they need to get hold of them quickly. When a person comes to pick up the kid, the teacher scans the QR Code on the person's app, and can immediately see which kids in their care are allowed to be picked up by that person. If they are not linked to the parent's profile, they can not pick up the kid.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KidScanner at none against SolarDashboard's 1. KidScanner also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). SolarDashboard's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
