InterSpec assists in analyzing spectral nuclear radiation data, using a peak-based methodology. Common uses include identifying nuclides present, determining source activity, shielding amounts, source age, or other nuclear reactions present. InterSpec also provides a number of other tools useful for analyzing radiation data including spectral file format converting, dose rate calculations, interactive nuclide decay and reference information, gamma cross section calculations and references, and more. InterSpec can open data files from most common spectral radiation detectors (e.g., most NaI, HPGe, LaBr, CLYC, CsI, etc. based systems) and assist in their analysis.
NuklidCalc
Read full descriptionHide full description
NuklidCalc is a toolbox allowing certain radiation protection calculations based on data from the RPO. - Nuclides data - Decay calculation - dose rate calculation - Elimination costs for radioactive waste - Help for the choice of transport packages This app is intended for radiation protection experts which received dedicated training in Switzerland and dispose of sufficient knowledge for its use. NuklidCalc is based on values from the radiation protection ordinance RPO of 26 April 2017, the Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road ADR of 30 September 1957 and DANGEROUS QUANTITIES OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL (D-VALUES), IAEA, VIENNA, 2006 (IAEA-EPR-D-Values 2006). Although the FOPH has taken care to ensure that the information displayed and calculated is accurate, no responsibility can be accepted for the accuracy, correctness, up-to-dateness, reliability or completeness of this information.
