The goal of the game is to clear the entire playing field of bubbles in order to advance to the next level. You can shoot the bubble at the bottom at other bubbles. If you make combinations of 3 or more bubbles of the same color, they will disappear. You can score much more points by removing multiple bubbles at a time. Let a large group of bubbles hang and remove the top bubbles. Each bubble that is only attached to the removed bubbles will also be removed, this will give you a big points multiplier!

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Arrow Hit at none against Shoot Bubble's 4. Arrow Hit also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). Shoot Bubble's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shoot Bubble sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Arrow Hit asks for nothing beyond the download.
Arrow Hit holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arrow Hit has 817 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Arrow Hit's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shoot Bubble's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Arrow Hit ships an update every 4 days, Shoot Bubble monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
